Ok, folks, here's a big update for those who aren't already in the know. A few weeks ago we found out that Cate was in the early stages of preeclampsia. Basically, she was having pregnancy-related high blood pressure which can result in complications, especially for the mother. So, long story short the doctor decided that Cate is going to be induced on Thursday, May 31st! That's just 4 days away! Anyway, we are extremely excited and have spent this past week getting things ready and trying to relax and rest.
To make things even more interesting the doctor said at the last meeting that Cate may actually be far enough along that natural labor could occur at any point. So, it's all up in the air! Thank you all so much for your thoughts, prayers, and notes of encouragement. We are grateful for each of you and can't wait to have you meet our little girl after she gets here in just a few short days!
